A new way to a broken business model
It is said that people don’t leave their job, they leave their managers. Why? We promote people based on years of service or because they are good doers, but does that make them a good manager. People go to school and gain experience in their craft (IT, Accounting, Legal, etc). Management is an entirely different career path and people are ill equipped to serve in that manner. When we fail to equip people for their role, they and those that report to them are set up for failure.
It’s time to step out of the mold. It’s time to be disruptive. It’s time to do things radically different to achieve remarkably different results.
We believe we lead by influence, and through the power of multiplication we can impact the world.
Businesses are not some ominous being that runs itself. It’s the sum of people. When we look at the micro level, the root, we can change the whole. It starts with us. What can we do to change ourselves if the circumstances around us do not change? How might we support our company by empowering our people?
The formula is simple: Head, Heart, Hands. The transformation process starts with education, it gets swallowed to the heart in our belief system, and then we can DO things differently by changing habits. This requires ongoing support of education and encouragement.
What are you feeding your brain? What tools are available? How can you go from being inspired to being empowered?
